Hi all! My name is Craig and I have lived with tbi for over 9 years now. I haven't really interacted with any other tbi survivors during this time. I feel I can benefit from learning from others with similar tbi experiences, and can also encourage others to avoid letting their tbi define them as I have been able to go places I never thought possible, even before my injury. I will share as much as possible to shed some light on my own personal experience of overcoming the countless never ending obstacles of tbi. Feel free to ask me anything. Have a good one everyone!

Hi Craig!

Welcome to TBIforums.com,

I enjoyed your input and your thinking! Many people with BIs are not entirely sure what to assume with their injury..I can relate to that... My BI was 13 years ago and still I catch myself being self-thoughtful at times. I have learn to overcome my disabilities by enjoying peoples experiences and have the comfort of knowing that I am alive and knowing that I am ok being a person with a Brain Injury - in spite of all the things that not "right". Whether its thought process, memory, health, emotional or a physical challenge I know one thing certain -- We have a heart and feelings! with those two... You can change the world by influencing others, one person at a time. Welcome again to the board!

Thank you Brian, T-Bone and LaurieB! I feel the same as you Laurie, but think most of us can understand a little about where each of us has been. It's good to be here!

Right now I am looking into a newer type of physical therapy for TBI recipients that, if successful, could make a HUGE beneficial impact on the recovery and rehabilitation from TBIs. Cross your finge
