My memory is horrible. Namely, my short-term memory I had ADD before the accident but it got worse after.

When I got my injury I couldn’t remember anything after the fact, nothing about my childhood. The doctors told me I had short-term memory loss. Now when I do daily tasks sometimes when I’m looking for something in the refrigerator I’ll look in the cabinet by accident. Or I’ll say “what was I doing again, or what was I just going to say?” We are definitely not good at multitasking endless that’s the only thing we focus on.

I do sympathize with you. I had a lot of that happening but it gets better with time.

Multitasking is out of the question! If I’m painting a room with someone, it’s very hard for me to have a conversation with a coworker and keep moving at the same time! Haha you’re definitely not alone!

I had my TBI on Jan 21 2014 which gave me a mild concussion with epilepsy.

Don’t worry about it too much. Have patience with yourself. It will get better.
